Thanks for the response. I bought a basic kraus 26” (24” interior) stainless undermount sink.

I asked for a 1/4” positive reveal so that I could rest accessories on it but now I’m wondering whether I’m better off (looks-wise) going with 1/8 or zero reveal and not using it as a workstation.

I spent waaay too much time agonizing over this decision so I really value your professional input.

There is no law that says your reveals have to match. If your sink flange is 1", you can have a 1/2" rear reveal and 1/8" side reveals. Zero or flush is not a good idea. It creates an elongated silicone joint that frays, becomes contaminated, black, and unsanitary.

Thanks. I hear. No zero. My struggle is mostly about the look then. 1/8 probably looks close to flush but 1/4” may not look as sleek. Thanks for the input

It looks like you put this sink in a 36" cabinet and also were able to have the dishwasher next to it with no issues. Did you need to cut down the sides of the cabinet to get the sink in? Any tips, suggestions? My cabinet person is telling me that I should have a 39" cabinet.

Your cabinet person is wrong. That 36" Elkay is undermounted in a 36" cabinet and looks much better than if it were in a 39" cabinet. Throw away the leaky clips supplied by Elkay and install it with two Sink Straps please.

Yes, the tops of the cabinets sides are cut down about an inch, however, the strapped sink makes that irrelevant structurally.

where do i get sink straps? We purchased an Elkay ELUHH3017TPDBG 32" sink and I'd also like to do a positive reveal top and bottom and maybe a smaller, 1/8" reveal on the sides to use the sink as a workstation, Our fabricator apparently also prefers a negative reveal. This is our first kitchen renovation and first time with quartz! i want to do it as perfectly as possible. I'd love some feedback please. :-) our installation will be in the next few weeks..
