Have you called miele and asked for an estimate to replace your dispenser? It may just be leaking. Are there other issues with your dishwasher? I woud certainly invest a few hundred $$ on a repair versus spending on a new dishwasher. I don’t find their repair rates to be unreasonable. If you are not having any other issues you may very well get a few more years out of it.. However - if you want a new dishwasher go for it.

My friend has Denby dishes. She has used them in a Thermador (rebadged Bosch), Fridgedaire, and GE Cafe dishwashers. No complaints on them fitting. If you go the new DW route - take a few pieces to a showroom that has the Bosch and see how they fit. Most Lowes/Home Depot has a few on their floor. The bottom racks are pretty conssitent among different models. The higher end models have more fold down options. I doubt the Miele bottom rack has changed significantly. Post a picture of yours and we can chime in if a newer model is different.

I have a Miele (on year 9) and love it. I would purchase again. I have used several Bosch dw and they clean very well and are very quiet. Their crystal dry feature completes well with the MIele auto open. I prefer the Miele top rack and their bottom rack. If I had to buy a Bosch I would not be unahppy, but I would miss my Miele.

What is the current dishwasher model?

Is the rinse aid really needed? What are the results if you use a top-notch detergent (e.g., CR-recommended Cascade Complete Dishwasher Detergent ActionPacs, Lemon Scent) and no rinse aid? I use Cascade Complete Powder without rinse aid -- I open the door to let the dishes dry -- in my old Whirlpool dishwasher and the dishes come out perfectly clean.

Good point, I think my dishwasher pods have rinse aid so maybe I can get away with that. I attached my dishwasher specs.
The water softener doesn’t work on it either but we have a whole home softener so it doesn’t matter.
