The rust spots are probably iron (natural inclusions) that are reacting to the liquid when cleaning and will continue as long as it finds new iron deposits. Nothing you can do about that. The balance will be on the fabricator to fix.

I'm glad I'm not your fabricator. I wouldn't have sold this stuff.

Angry or not, you should have been present for the repair if your schedule permitted. Delegating something like that can come back to haunt you.

i didnt delegate. i am renovating the whole house. My contract is with my builder. His contract is with the fabricator. He employed him. Not a helpful comment.

Your contractor hasn't succeeded in having the fabricator correct the defects. That means more has to be done. If it were me, I'd be present next time to get your requirements understood.

Certain quartzites can get funny marks by looking at them, however, some of yours appear to be caused by water used during fabrication. They may come out, they may not.

As a businessman, I remain befuddled as to why fabricators continue to sell so many stones with so many known problems. Corian would have been strangled in its crib over 50 years ago had it had even 1% of the repeated problems we see here with quartzites.

Stone is a natural substance with natural inclusions. Most is naturally porous and absorbent as well. There isn't a whole lot not already addressed that can be blamed on the actual fabrication issues. Those were already fixed The few remaining issues are inherent in the stone choice. Those really are NOT 30K counters though. Whomever sold you that as 30K of slabs is on crack.
