Kitchen Counter Help!

Hi! I'm doing a complete renovation of my kitchen and am stuck on choosing my counter tops. I really like the Taj Mahal Quartzite and found 2 different blocks I really like. I need 3 total for my kitchen. Plan with notes below:

One of the Taj Mahal's only has one slab, so I found a coordinating quartz - Cashmere by Alleanza Quartz that could work on the perimeters with the Taj Mahal slab on the island. The perimeter cabinets are all a shaker style in Benjamin Moore White Dove and the island is a cherry wood in an oregano stain.

My other option is to go all Taj Mahal as there are 3 slabs available in the other block I really liked.

Could use some design help! Should I go all the same counter in all three areas, or have different counters for the island and perimeter? The perimeter consists of areas on either side of the range and what I'm calling the butler pantry area.

Appreciate any and all feedback and ideas! Thanks in advance!

I like the idea of two different countertop materials, but I don't like the cashmere quartz. Something about it with the other materials and wood island looks very dated to me.

Two different top materials (do not mix natural with man made) ONE cabinet color. Two cabinet finishes ONE top material. Two cabinet finishes AND two top materials is one finish too many and just does not look right.

I do not think (in the photo) that the upper colors work with the cabinet colors. They appear too cool. I think the lower TM looks warmer and works nicely with the white dove cabinets nicely.

I think the 3 matching is the best option. I do think you could do different materials, but if you go that route I would choose a second material that is more different from the Taj than the Cashmere you show -- the quartz is going to suffer in comparison to the beautiful natural stone IMO.

It's worth waiting for all Taj. Ask you local slab shops when they get their next shipment in and go the day it's first available. You'll be able to pick your favorite 3 Taj slabs.
