Would a tall leaning mirror be the solution? With a very thin frame?

Hang a mirror over the covers, remove it when you need access. No to the irregular mirror, too trendy.

Our leaning mirrors , while resting on the floor, are still attached to the wall for safety . Pretty sure all floor mirrors come with wall attachments.

Yes to hanging the Ikea mirror on the wall where the green outline is. Always nice when a good solution is Ikea prices.

Go for it. Find a wall hung console shelf and then have mirrors installed above and below the shelf.

I do wish there was a photo that showed how the niche interacts with this wall. There might just be too many things going on at the same time if you highlight both walls.

Yes, it can get busy looking in this small entry. Looking for a solution to make it look bigger and not cluttered.

What about the electrical? Won't a mirrored panel be problematic? That would be my ideal selection but I'm worried it'll lead to an issue down the road.

Yes to the simple IKEA mirror. No console, especially since you have the opening right next to it. Less is more.
