Pictures of the room and the product would be helpful. How high is the rest of the ceiling/how tall are surrounding cabinets?

Is the island height the same as the range height? Where does 44" above countertop hit on the range and vent area? Just wondering what it will look like straight on in the space and where it visually aligns with the vent.

Also, assuming/hoping you also have some cans, as that fixture will not give you any task lighting!
