I'm trying to figure out a color scheme for the exterior of my house on a very limited budget. My house has white siding and white trim that's perfectly funtional and is not going to be replaced. That being said, I'm going to rebuild the front steps since they are falling apart, and I want to paint the door. When I replace the windows in the next year I'll have different color trim put around those. I'm leaning towards a red front door/window trim, but what would I do with the steps? Any color scheme help would be great. I'm also open to repainting the shutters. Currently the steps/shutters are green.

**clarification! I meant the little wooden steps at the top, after the stone steps in the yard. Hope that helps.**
