I really like your wood trim. I would consider matchstick blinds in a matching color. Inside mounted. Or Roman Shades depending on the architecture.

I know you didn't ask, but I would replace your pillows and accessories with tan and cream to warm up and simplify the room and let the beautiful windows be the focus.

This is a good vendor:

You wanted a pic...these are the wrong color...they don't match your wood but they open from up or down which would be nice. The valance style here is optional....many roller styles. Some people like remote control rather than cord pull.

Thank you so much!!! My real pillows are cream and tan, it was just a holiday pillow😂

Oh wow, I'm glad to be of some help. Yes, Steve's is often recommended here and is very reasonable. We have ordered a lot from them.

I think you want Matchstick Roman Shades. Wood..not Bamboo. Roller blinds are too casual.

Steve's is great...you find something you like and send for samples. You measure the opening exactly and they figure out the size and cut to order.

Easiest DIY. Mount inside shades from the undersurface of the upper window case. You just need a drill/screwdriver.

I can't find a link to Steve's now.

Here are a few ideas showing mostly shades on their own or coupled with side curtains.
