You need to post pics with much better lightinfg so open the blinds turn on all the lights and from what I can see you have no lighting in this space except a teeny little lamp that does not belong .We need to see the colors of the furniture also what has to stay and what can go . Do the 2 chairs at the window match ?

edit the space and keep only what you need for a comfortable space. If you need a sofa cover, introduce something light with a texture, rather than pattern.
