Slab backsplash help!

Hi! Appreciate your thoughts. A new counter, sink, faucet, and cabinet fronts will be going in. The plan is for the backsplash to be a slab - same material as the countertop (white/marble look). The slab is thicker than tile, so the question is what would look best around the window (from the right corner under the cabinet to the end of the counter on the left)? Is it better to keep the slab backsplash low (the height would be at the bottom edge of the window), or put it at cabinet height?

I would take the backspash to the bottom of the window sill. If you take it up to the bottom of the cabinets, you’ll have to get extenders for your electrical outlet boxes, and pay more for the slab and extra cuts to accomodate them. I don’t think the extra cost would be worth it for the design value of another eight or so inches of backsplash height.

You have the option to make the impact more. You can take it up to the top of the window even with the bottom of the upper cabinet soffit. It depends on how much material you have from your counter purchase. I'd go single bowl sink.
