Aw. I love doodles. She is beautiful. My 2 dogs have several doggy friends we seek out on our walks, but their beloved BFF is a delightful doodle with a fantastic personality. May your new addition be just as much of a friendly love bug!

Im bad at names, too, which is how i ended up with a cat named Kitty. Actually Kitty would be a good name for your DD’s dog. There is one doodle on my street Her is name is Regina, called Reggie.

Such a sweetie! She reminds me of my daughter's dog, named Penny. If not Penny, I adore the names Maude and Daisy. We know a wonderful standard poodle named Daisy.

My friends got a puppy a year ago and when they went to pick her up, they had all kinds of names in mind. But the family's little girl handed them the puppy and said, "Her name is Cora because my name is Cora." So Cora it is!

What town or street is she from? What are here parents' names?

Look up "golden" in different languages; eg Gilda.

I don't care for random names as much.

So cute. Stella is star in Latin, one could make a case for that name because of the star on her chest, she'll be the family star and Stella is just a cute name.

That face says Herbert to me. But then I saw she is a female. I might still stick with Herbert, or change to Gert or Doris.

She is absolutely the cutest pup!

I like Stella, and not only because it would be fun calling her in your best Brando voice: Stellaaaaa.

My old vet's wife kept her maiden name so their last names were different.

He told me about a cat patient he had named Goldberg. He couldn't believe it.

So I teased him that maybe the family couldn't decide on a first name, but they could on a last name!

What a cutie pie!! I like Ruby :)

Raffi. She's a BEAUTIFUL pup! Raffi is a Star Trek character who's a beauty.

My problem with Stella, keeping in mind she is not my dog, is there are too many little girls named Stella. While I like dogs to have human names, keeping in mind I have never had a dog and never will, the dog name shouldn’t be a trending human name. But I don’t have a dog in this fight 😆

If you’re car people, Enzo is a great Golden name.

Ours is named Clutch because a friend named theirs first We say he’s the obsolete 3rd pedal.

On her way home now, I agree with mtn on not using a very popular girls name.

I like Holly and Maggie ( kswl ) .Gd likes Ivy.

fnmroberts, Clutch is beautiful!. DH and I are going over to see her in person tonight. A fun Vday !!!

Hmmm just looked at her again, and I think Norma. suits her.

Hhireno, I could tell you a bit about that situation of dogs and girls’ names…. my nickname growing up was Muffy. I couldn’t go a week without someone telling me their dog or cat (or their friend's dog or cat or their cousin's or dental technician's or plumber's… etc, ad nauseam) was also named Muffy. 🙄

Totally relate to that Jo… we have a son everyone (including us) calls Skip. It was my dad’s childhood nickname but has stuck with our guy to this day. i had no idea how many pets were named Skip or Skippy and can only imagine how many are named Oliver or Ollie!

Dropitpuppy. The name most will call her the first year.

She’s darling, our daughter’s labadoodle is Finley.

When I was young, we had neighbors who had a two kids and three cats. All had normal names you would name a child, including the cats. After a few years they had another baby. She had the same name as one of the cats. I didn’t think it was odd at the time (my imaginary horse’s name was Michael), just confusing!

I would offer up Penny, because she’s like a copper penny, but don’t we already have one here? Oh, so what, they will never meet!

Seems like all our pets end up with two syllable names.

I generally don't name my pets based on their looks or wait to see what sort of personality emerges. I have a list of names I like and the next cat will get one of them. Kinda like children.

My dad and daughter's cat have the same name. Dad has been gone many years so there's no confusion.

Ooh, Ruby! Ruby Tuesday! “Who could lay the blame on you” when she’s in trouble (i’m a fan of changing lyrics to suit a situation)
