I'd add some real art. You have a very nice neutral, rugless room. I would want rugs (washable ruggables might be an option if you change your mind) and color on the bed. But you may think that is no long neutral.

Some chunkier lamps would balance the headboard better I think - maybe with some interesting shades?

This isn't horizontal enough, but look for a dreamy skyscape in a neutral palette for over your bed to enhance the serenity of your bedroom.

I would not hang art above the headboard I like what you have there . I think paint can be a really awesome way to change a look for very little money. Take a color from the bedding and do the at least the wall behind the bed . A nice fluffy trhow adds some texture and I am not a lover of a whole bunch of stuff that has to come on and off the bed all the time simple is IMO always better .

A white fan will be much less obtrusive.🙂

Maybe remove the star over the bed and go for actual artwork. Then try a chandelier instead of the fan and new lamps on either side of the bed (or even just new lampshades).
