Hello, I’m getting ready to paint my bedroom and have this odd I guess tray type ceiling but its not like normal ones and much thicker. I’d like it to pop in a modernized way but not sure what to do. It seems like it will look more like a stripe if I have a separate color then wall or ceiling since so thick. Maybe do the wall and the middle part same color? ceiling white or maybe the neutral I’m going with for the adjoining bathroom SW Accesible Beige. ? Love to hear what others would consider doing to update the space if it were theirs. Thanks

I would probably paint the sides of the tray the wall color and only the center of the tray the ceiling color.
