Gutting our master bathroom due to a leak and seeking some advice on the baseboards. The previous base trim was tile that matched the old bathroom. I'd prefer just do normal looking baseboards on the remodel. I went to Home Depot and they directed me to MDF baseboards. Given that MDF warps with water I'm worried about putting it in a bathroom with a large shower and freestanding tub.

Any recommendations?
