Osage orange contender

Discussion indicted it was a contender for largest Texas osage orange (Maclura pomifera), which I took to mean it was undecided at this point. Either way, it's an impressive tree. Discussion also stated there were no fruit seen, so perhaps a male. Also was an age estimate of 250 yrs or so.

Interesting to see that the 'jointed' look that osage oranges have hasn't smoothed out even in a tree this size.
