Beautiful kitchen, great ideas for a refresh!

What a fantastic kitchen. I really like your cabinets. You've achieved so much in such a short time. Finding the right carpenter makes all the difference. Do you have doors on both sides of that high counter?

I think some people just become blind to minor annoyances. I have a janky laundry room faucet but I barely use it so it's not really on my radar.

Nice roomy kitchen with lots of working counter space. Finding service people and healthcare professionals is the hardest part of moving for me. It sounds like you found a good carpenter/handyman.

Had the trash pullout with a cabinet door converted to a proper one step trash pullout

One step as in using your foot to open? We have that and I love it!!!

@maire_cate - there are doors on the outside but they migjt as well just be panels as they open to very shallow shelves - barely deep enough for canned items. The other side has the trash pullout, sink and DW.

You've accomplished a lot! It's a nice wide open kitchen...love that! And...yes...finding good help to work on projects is near impossible. THAT in itself is an accomplishment!

Shallow cabinets like those are a great place to store drinkware, especially those that you don’t use often.
