If you can center the fireplace on the wall with the beam, and where you will likely have a chandelier or fan centered, then you are better off placing the fireplace on the wall with the windows and place a large screen TV on the large wall.

I would place the fireplace on the wall on the front of the home.

Definitely think that is a good idea. If we end up being limited to only using the wall with the beam, which side works better though? Tv will most likely go above fireplace

If you have to have it on the wall where the beam ends, center it between the beam and the front of the house. BeverlyFLADeziner has a nice furniture layout in her comment.

I agree with Beverly….use the front wall for your FP. And please only put your telly above your FP if it’s a modern one with low mantle etc…otherwise it will be too high.

I know many place the TV above the fireplace, but that significantly limits the size of the screen. You're not placing even a 65" screen above a fireplace unless the fireplace is linear.

Thoughts on a couch in front of breakfast nook window instead of table and moving the tv and couches towards that side?
