Great flowers doug and ann! can never understand why some growers cut off the flower petioles as they come up…. I Love the hosta flowers but more importantly many pollinators do too. Flowers bring color, contrast, interest and in some cases wonderful scent! After they are spent, then cut them off. I will leave the very last flower on a bloom because I know some pollinator will find it! That’s my two cents for the day! 😂

I love the hyacinth like shape of BA. The shape of the flower head helped me ID this one. I was one a garden tour years ago and saw this flower on a big hosta and asked the gardener what ”that hosta was.” Of course he said BA.

interesting flower on Lemontini I think, the way the petioles grow out and up

when S&S flowers come up, they look very snake like, not shown here

Beauties hosta_maker. I think the 6th one down with the dark stripes is my fav.

Ann plantaginea is terrific. A pure white is so fresh looking.

Debra BA does have great flowers! Pandora's Box is pretty impressive with those dark flowers.

Pieter Restless Sea is very nice! Wow on Guacamole. Yours is so white. Most years mine still has a bit of purple shoeing through.

These flowers are on what supposedly is venusta, but they do not look like any flowers I've seen on the web from this specie. I'd love to find out what it in fact is, particularly since it was sporting when I purchased it a few years ago. Yes, the plant does remind one of venusta but I have my doubts.

Paula, I love the Star Trek joke and the "dealer".

Beautiful flowers, I love the hosta blooms. For me the blooms start late June and the final plants finish up late September. Nice to have a long season of blooms and the pollinators like them too.
