The first thing I would do would be to get a rug with some color under the dining table, and a large, coordinating rug in the entry. Then, add roman blinds in the windows. This will dramatically "warm up" the space. If the island stools aren't new, get new ones - you have enough visual space to get stools with backs - preferably in wood (coordinating with the floor) to warm up that area a bit.

If it were me I would want to soften all the grey and black with some texture - I’d relocate the black cabinet to another room and hang panels on the windows (maybe a slubby white linen or something with color), I’d change the dining chandelier since it’s so severe but you could maybe add chandelier shades instead - a sheepskin over the back of the end chairs would cozy things up as well-

Ditto both the above. Look for ways to add softness and texture. Rug in dining nook, a runner in kitchen, window treatments, upholstered or slipcovered dining chairs and counter stools, sheepskins (real or faux) over at least the end dining chairs, large art. The desk, black cabinet, and extra chair seem to be crowding the dining room. Try to bring in more contrast or color - maybe a darker dining table:

Window treatment, art, a great centrepiece, a plant, and rug if it works for your family. Is the table/desk used, as the black cabinet might better suit that location.
