I started my amarylis growing adventure from germinating Minerva bloom seed pod! i augmented my collection w leftover Christmas bulbs from Lowes/Home Depot! After 5-6 years of propagating and giving away plants to friends and family, I seem to be unable to grow my bulbs larger than 14-16cm circumference (approx 2-2.5 in diameter) - but my bulbs produce numerous babies!!

Q: How can i get my bulbs to grow bigger w/o producing so many baby/little bulbs??
