So my Monstera grew four new growth points at its base like a year ago. But got snapped in half in a storm so the top half got potted separately and the bottom half had those for growth points growing into new lives. One of which continued to grow. I moved it down to a south east facing window two or three weeks ago and noticed these two growths from the base leaves. They definitely look like new growth points emerging but why did the leave just shrivel up? i haven’t misted them is no chance of them getting wet
