The NYT is beta testing yet another word game, called Strands. You have to find the wordes related to the daily theme. You cannot reuse letters. With all these puzzles, its going to be noon before I start the day.

      I thought the spangram had to begin and end at an outside edge. Is this a change?

      Interestingly, today it accepted "Mary" as a word, but not "Sunday"!

      I knew what the spangram had to be but had the worst problem putting it together. For one thing, it didn't end at an edge, it is actually two words and not one, and then my own stupidity in single vs plural.

      I did the four corners first for this one, but this one was much easier than yesterday's for me, and it went very quickly.

      The Spangram today makes an interesting shape.
