If you don't want to do a major remodel, I think I'd replace the tile floor with hardwood and leave it at that. Save up for a kitchen redo to get rid of all the angled surfaces and the soffits.

I love your island! So many fun colors to work with there.

The tile is what jumps out at me as needing to go. I like your granite. Your island is what strikes me as too casual--the wire baskets, open sides, paper towel holder, stripes. Get rid of the island and replace with something more in line with the more classic feel that you are looking for. If you get something roughly the same size, you could re-use the granite top on the island

You can use paint and flooring to tone down the yellow tones in your cabinets. I actually think some beachy colored paint in various shades of blue might be really beautiful in this kitchen. This is an awesome kitchen, to have all of that space to work with.

We might suggest updating the pendant lights, hardware on the cabinets, and flooring. You might also look at removing the small island, as it seems to overwhelm the space.

its a lot of cabinets but not the right sort. no drawers . agree to live w it and measure out the space and start thinking. in the not distant future I would prefer to renovate this kitchen. reasons....1..outdated cabinetry altho functional now 2. windowless space needs special attention ..glass doors..lighter surfaces... etc . 3. .extra large kitchen but maybe too big ....case could be made to pare back the actual kitchen footprint for an efficient kitchen/ w chance to improve dining spot.

shown....use of white and some pale colors....given ?coastal area? / also , internal kitchen . The space you have can most importantly lead to a better kitchen ... when thoughts of a real renovation come due.
