Here is the layout

I do notlike knobs but I do like a very contemporaryu kitcehn I like pulls all in proportion to the cabinet or drawer I even sometime do some vertical and some horizontal . This pic a great exapmle of what I do. It is too bad you did not come here sooner all those lower cabinets should have been drawers.too

I know many people prefer drawers, but I prefer lower cabinets.

With so many doors on all three sides of a compact space, I would do knobs on uppers for sure. It is fine to mix knobs on uppers and pulls on lowers.
