Just get rid of that rug. Room looks excellent! Rug ruins it. No offense.

Try moving one of the side tables and lamp away from the couch.....look at your pic and see how it is too matchy on that wall. Is there room for one beside the chair or the love seat?

Have fun with the ottoman.....it needs a big colorful tray on it or a throw draped across the edge.

IF IF IF you were to do something with mirrors on the wall, what would it reflect? If you do not do colors on the wall, the rug will be ok.

My issue is with the too many cushions not with rug Just keep the red cushions on the sofa and the ones that came with it . let me see what I can find for the wall.

I will remove some of the cushions and move one of the side tables next to the chair. I really like the rug! The original rug I purchased ended up in the dining room. LOVE the cocktail table suggestion. If I put mirrors on the wall behind the sofa it will reflect the tv.
