More spring flowers

last year

Monday night it is going down to 25 degrees or so. The red buds are just beginning to show, so maybe they will be destroyed. Here's a few that I'm enjoying while they last.

I find the dafs with the long middles interesting.

Gotta love the colors of spring! 28 degrees here Monday night-probably saying goodbye to my peaches for the second year in a row! 80 degrees yesterday.

I like the hellebore, i have a white one. wish the blooms were more upright…..right?

Kate, I'm sorry to hear about your peaches. So disappointing.

Sherry, yes, hellebore are disappointing in that they hang down. I didn't expect that. Fortunately they were a trade and I didn't spend anything but shipping on them.

Yes, Monday night will be a killer, but last year at this time, we went down to 15 for a few nights. That March cold (after extreme February warmth) I believe had lasting repercussions for daylilies.
