I would do it in the same white as your trim and bring in color with the decor items on the bookshelves. Having it match the trim will give you the flexibility to easily change up the wall and bedding colors as trends change or you get bored with what you have.

I agree with Chispa. The same white as your trim. Are you planning on draperies. You do need a bit of color and pattern in there.

You seem to have white trim so I suggest white for your built-in unit. You can have stained wood shelves the same colour as your floor for more detail to the unit.

I also suggest you accessorize your room and bring some texture and contrast to your bedding.
