Yup- I’ve actually found a king( which is what we want) in Philly. Just not sure my husband and I can handle it. It’s VERY heavy!

$300 delivery fee for furniture isn’t that bad. Not every company is Amazon (which now puts ads in prime video and you have to pay to not have ads in a kindle!!!). If you added that price to the list and said it was free shipping do you still like it?

What does “white glove delivery” include? Do they set it up for you?

They put it together and set it where you want it to be placed.

If it might be too heavy for you and your husband it seems worth it to me. I bet they would put the mattresses on too if you had them ready.

White glove also usually entails them removing all the packing materials as well as set up. So it’s not just comparing a delivery fee to another delivery fee. You could always contact arhaus to see if there’s a warehouse nearby you could pick up from. Or another delivery option they don’t advertise.

I've bought a ton of stuff from Arhaus. From what I remember (and you should confirm if this idea works for you), is that it was a flat-rate fee. That is, if I bought 2 items, the delivery fee was the same. Someone also suggested picking the item up in the store yourself (if they have it at the local store). There is a lot to be said for the white glove delivery if you live in a condo with stairs and the item needs to be assembled.

Well, thanks to all of your comments we decided to buy the bed and spend for the white glove delivery. I did ask if there was an alternative to white and there wasn’t. I really love the bed, so, we’re biting the bullet.

Arhaus delivery fees drive me nuts. If it’s something big, ok, fine. Although it’s almost 2x Room and Board’s fee. And R&B delivery is absolutely hands down the BEST. I bought 2 bar stools recently from Arhaus, only after they went on a great sale, so I sucked up the delivery fee and ordered. 3 days before delivery it snowed. The drivers didn’t want to come down our 1/2 mile gravel driveway (completely navigable) so we met them at the road, put the 2 barstools in our truck and brought them to the house ourselves. All this for $299. 🤬
