Does Echinacea pallida grow in your area?

Well I hope that's what it is. Ive passed on growing pallida for a long time, but the fact that it has a taproot, has me interested. Ive been growing the native E. purpurea for several years, and they grow very vigorously for about 3 years, and then they slowly decline, but I wouldnt be without them. I tried growing the Tenessee Coneflower years ago. It never made it through the winter. I will be grabbing a pot of Pale Coneflower at one of the native plant sales.
