We have just moved into a new place and are struggling to work out where to fit a 42' or 46' inch TV.
We have a narrow alcove (33") left of the fireplace. Ordinarily it would go there, but I don't think we can fit a 40"+ in there. The current 42" TV is awkwardly sat in there, touching both walls and protruding out.
There is a space on the right of the fireplace we could put it, but that has awkward visibility for one of the seating spaces we have.
We have kind of settled on getting a Samsung frame and putting it above the fireplace, but we are worried viewing might become a bit awkward, and it doesn't really have an intimate feel.
We don't want any solution that means seeing the back of sofas or TV wires upon entering the room.
Any advice appreciated!
