It depends on your definition of wall decor, your furnishings and style. Suggest waiting until you know what will be complementary.

Is that a brown leather sofa that I see peeking out? What other furniture are you putting in this room? Leaning toward Mid Mod or Industrial Farm ? What colors do you like?.

I see a chandy and openings all over...how will this space be used? That makes a difference.

Inspiration

Have you picked out your rug, sofa, lamps, etc? Everything in the room should relate in some way. It's hard to suggest wall decor without knowing what else is going on in the room.

How about some green? What about palm trees in large pots and artwork above it that is green with your preferred accent color? Like a painting of a citrus tee or something.

Lots of items that can be placed on either side of the FP. Just depends on what your room requires.

Start by having an AV person hide/make your cords necessary.
