That is a really pretty pattern, Sharon. I could be tempted. I have some Asian scraps, but after all the curved seams I just did on the Tidal Pool quilt, I’d have to wait a while. Oh, I have a better idea! I could send my scraps to you for your quilt. I’m serious. What size are your circles?

Was that quilt shop called Blue Bamboo, or something similar? I think I won some fabric from them in the FabShop Hop.

My sister and I did a workshop for curved piecing and I have the templates. Looks tempting Sharon!

Donna, It's been quite a few years ago when I visited my sister up there. .Probably close to 8 - 10 years. Maybe Lois will remember for sure.

Theresa, Get out those templates and get started. I think the pattern blocks are 9,5" unfinished. OK, I checked. The circle fan parr if the block is 8.5". The white sash is cut at 2" for the right side and bottom with a 2" HST for the end of the fan. The oriental fabric used is supposed to resemble Yin and Yang, Darker: stripes, geometric, plaids are considered male fabric. Female fabric is lighter and more colorful with those large flowers and cranes, Complimenting each other. Go for it girlfriend.

I’m sure I took your photo, but I couldn’t find it. i did find the 2015 photo of Linda (Toolgranny) and me at a shop in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, that unfortunately was destroyed in the fire.
