I don't find the moss the slightest bit unappealing. It just adds a venerable, weathered look. And there is no way you can prevent moss growing if in a climate that is conducive to it.

Plus you do not want to be using chemicals to clean and eliminate the moss when you are growing on garden right next to the current moss.

The only thing you can really do is scrape off the moss and keep it scraped. If you use chemicals meant for killing plants, it can harm more than just the moss.

Otherwise the moss does not harm the dirt. If you encourage it, it might grow in nice and provide you with a natural kneeling bar.

Agree with all comments made. What a great garden set up! Is it new to you or have you had gardens in it? Is it flowers or veggies or both?

It was a fenced in garden from previous owner but I upgraded all masonry work and beds and fence due to deer. Thanks
