We are remodeling our kitchen and planning on doing unlacquered brass hardware, because we like the idea of the patina and darker color with age.

One of the main concerns my wife has, is does it have the stronge metal smell when you touch it since it is a raw metal.

Has anyone had experiences with unlaquered brass, whether positive or negative? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
