Can you not see the drain pipe in the first pic? It comes out of the back wall at an angle. Don’t want to cut into the cabinets and wall if I don’t have to…

Hugh: Please reread and comprehend my last comment. You need to determine how difficult it is going to be to properly solve your problem. The way you do this is by opening up the cabinet and wall to see if the pipe in the wall is verticle or horizontal. If the pipe is verticle, you simply cut it and lower the sanitary T.

Is the pipe from the garbage disposal lower than the drain pipe that goes into the wall? If so, the garbage disposal won't drain fully and water from the sink will run into the disposal.

True that ^, however, it will still drain. Now let's get that dishwasher drain line tacked up as high as possible in the cabinet please. It should be looped over the top of the adjacent cabinet, not through the bottom.

So it looks like you decided to NOT solve the problem and live with an inch of permanent swill inside the disposer. When it starts to smell bad, just call a plumber.

Yeah, I'm not sure about that at all - and neither are you. It's not clear from the photos that the height of the disposal tail piece is below the trap weir. If it is, that's not good... but it doesn't look like it to me. It looks like it could be fine.

OP: Ignore the trolls and take another photo - so we can clearly see the height of the pipe out of the disposal compared to the pipe going into the wall.

Also, what Joseph Corlett said about the dishwasher drain line: They need to loop up as high as you can inside the cabinet so water from the disposal doesn't drain back into the dishwasher. It's called a "high loop".

Adding to what Joseph and Jake said about the DW drain hose, shorten the hose so that it drops from the high loop to the disposer without a dip, or all that excess hose on the floor of the cabinet.
