New kitchen! kitchen hardware, faucets, and pendant light advice

Hi looking for some advice on kitchen hardware. I was interested in doing oil bronzed. Any advice on type of hardware? Also our appliances are stainless steel so I’m assuming oil bronzed faucet to match would look best? Also looking for advice on pendant style/color? I like the drum shades I wanted to incorporate black into the kitchen. I was thinking about doing black counter height stools. Thanks in advance. Also recessed lights are not in yet.

Very pretty kitchen! Have you selected the backsplash yet? That might be a consideration with cabinet hardware selection. You can certainly mix metals such as have island and pendants ORB and perimeter another, or just have all the same.

Your appliances are stainless. Your sink is stainless? Count that as ONE finish.

I would do a stainless faucet, no matter what. Your widest and best selection will be in that finish, and you should shop a local plumbing supply, asap. If you want black accents? I'd use that in lighting and in stools. That leaves cabinet hardware, right? I might like satin nickel best in that scenario.

    OR..........

    Still with only two finishes.....

Stainless faucet, matte black cabinet hardware. A TINY bit of black in pendants, and stools as you like.

Yup......I rather have ignored oil rubbed bronze door knobs. It is your most limited in selection - as it receded in popularity.

It doesn't mean you can't repeat it in a faucet, or even cabinet hardware. It's just less prevalent, and selections will be more limited..

Backsplash is the same as counter tops

Sinks are white. The main sink is a farm house sink and the prep sink is also white

I am liking brushed nickel for your kitchen. ORB is out of style. No need to double down on it just because your door handles are all ORB. Go with what Jan has suggested.

There's nothing you touch more, use more in a kitchen than the main faucet.

You want a marriage in looks with the prep faucet as well.

I would really not do it online, and I'd get thee to the local best plumbing supply in your area: )

Nothing is easier than stainless, : ) or more prevalent.

Thank you for all the advice! Curious about this…What about antique brass for faucet/cabinet hardware?

It's fine as you ignore the oil rubbed door knobs. How many darn passage or privacy doors are actually visible from the kitchen? Not many, usually : )

Your hardware and faucet are tied to the final look and feel you want in your kitchen which in most cases is usually determined long before counter tops are installed. What IS the feel you want?!

I like a modern transitional look or like a modern vintage style

You may consider choosing some pendant lights with an oil-rubbed bronze or antique copper finish, which would complement your stainless steel appliances and create a heavy metal industrial style. You can also explore other uniquely-designed black light fixtures to enhance the modern feel of your kitchen. Additionally, for overall lighting effect, you can opt for high-quality LED fixtures such as recessed lights or dimmable lights to provide a comfortable lighting ambiance. I hope these suggestions help you make the right choice of lighting fixtures! Professional home lighting offers you more choices.

I like ORB door knobs! Touches of black/ORB will look great in this kitchen. You mentioned antique brass— I think that would be better than brushed stainless or nickel.
