granite countertop seam

Our granite was Installed last week. I am not happy with the seam. Is this acceptable? Maybe I’m being too picky but we paid A LOT for this granite

Is it flat? The seam itself looks good from what you show.

In 2 weeks you won't even notice that seam. Like above - if it's flat - and the install is stable and flat on both pieces - you have ZERO to gain here and a lot to lose if you think they will do this over and it will be a better outcome.

If you have a good eye MAYBE you could use a light grey sharpie and connect some of the grey areas through the seam but really - this looks good as is, IMO.

It's a little fat, but otherwise pretty nice. It could be eliminated if you retrofitted an apron front sink.

You have incorrect expectations that would apply more to Corian than any type of stone.

That is a popular place to put a seam. I agree it could have been a bit thinner, but overall looks good.

Can we see a wide-range shot of the counter?
