Need Fireplace Design Help!!

We are building a new home and I’m stuck on what I want the fireplace to look like. I’ve attached a picture of the floorplan and also inspiration picture of what our kitchen will look like. White oak, slim shaker cabinets with soapstone countertop. Island will have a waterfall. Any ideas and inspiration appreciated!!

I think tying in the metal's color from the stools to the fireplace wall would be interesting.

The ceilings are 12ft. We were thinking of playing off the color of the island and i’m going with more of a charcoal, gray or slate colored fire fireplace

Apparently you do not actually cook since thta shelf abovethe range is just plain silly and why that backspalsh? If this in not your space then how do we help. Your actual space drives the choices . From this pic a soapstone fP would be my choice in large panels . But we have no context without your space to look at .
