Need help, washing machine problem

Our house came with a basin in the laundry room (trim around the bottom). We got the washing machine and dryer installed. But now I cannot open the washing machine drain at the front (2nd picture). It's recommended to drain it every few months to keep the washing in good condition. Any ideas of how this can be fixed easily? As the washing machine is very difficult to move too.

You can purchase from LG the matching pedestals to raise the machines.

You wouldn't be able to use the drawer in the pedestals, it would just raise the units.

Or make a base out of wood...something that would fit inside the basin.

You would have to make it strong and solid to hold hundreds of pounds and withstand the spin cycle shaking.

I also found an appliance stand that can raise the machines up 4.1 to 5.1 inches.

LG makes several pedestals for its washers and dryers but the drawers they include would be useless because they would be blocked by the floor. It also offers the ADA WDPS2B pedestal which raises the appliance ~5" which might be enough to allow you to open the drain door. This pedestal may be a better solution than a plywood box as the appliance would be fastened to the pedestal so it couldn't fall off.
