I would do solid with your floors. I think the crisscross is busy with your floors and I would go a little bit darker.

I agree with a solid color rug in your case.

Nothing wrong with the very subtle patterned carpeting you selected.

I guess you'd have the area rug customer cut and serged. Make sure you have it cut the correct size.

I like the solid blue color but agree that the pattern could work because it is actually a much smaller more subtle pattern. It just looks busy on the screen.

Some pattern could add a bit more life to the room.

Sorry IMO a sea of boring the rug is just blah . Google cream, taupe "and whatever your fave colors is " rugs and see what pops up mt choice would also be a mix with blue

Your floor is a strong amber color so I suggest a pattern with the taupe and an orange/amber/carmel color. Also then repeat those colors in pillows.
