Bird feeder on window?

I got this clear bird feeder for a window. My kids love birds and I have allot of trees woods birds nearby but also pests chipmunks squirrels field mice. I know they mention bird food brings the students etc. I see they sell screens so the food doesn't go to the ground. Any tips tricks thanks

A hummingbird feeder won’t attract rodents. I wouldn’t have a seed feeder that close to my house.
