You can buy your own sea fans online @ Etsy and have them framed or better yet, frame them yourself. Fans run around $12 to $15 US ea. I bought cream chalk paint finished shadow box frames with burlap backs to compliment the dark brown sea fans. The frames cost around $25.00 at Home Sense. For three, the entire project cost about $125.00 compared to the average retail cost of $200.00 to 300.00 for each piece.

Thanks for the tip! Not a big DIY person, but no great loss if my handiwork didn't quite cut it! Planning to move back to San Diego when husband retires, had this exact feeling in mind for our home. So soothing!!
