We are in a color delimna on our exterior remodel. Looking at changing our siding to board & batton 12' siding in snow white. Top picture is current house, bottom is with changes - however my husband is not sold on the white as typically the trend is white siding with black/grey roof and black windows. He thinks we need to go to more of a darker siding color (clay pictured below is his thoughts and reasoning behind if we choose a color other than white we can keep our current front door, he's afraid of the current soffit, trims & gutters clashing with the new white siding as we dont plan to change all of those items, and typically you don't see brown roof homes with white siding). We also have 3 farm buildings behind the house that are all white exteriors another reason why I think white is the color we need to go with.

Any input is appreciated .. do you think the white and brown look ok together?
