I have walnut hardwood floorinf throughout the whole of my home. In the kitchen diner we have a gap alreasy where we took a chimney down which we havent dealt with. We’re now going to relayout the kitchen, exposing a section previously hidden by units where the flooring ends about 30cm away from the wall. I hadnt planned on replacing the floor (id have no idea what to choose in any case!). Has anyone restored a wooden floor which had parts missing…!?
