No fertilizer but plenty of water (never fertilize stressed plants). Provided you obtained a good rootball, it should recover.

Ideally, the time for transplanting is while still dormant, before it leafed out. btw, do you own the forest you removed it from? If not, your transplantation is illegal.

Keep it well watered and it should be OK. IME spicebush is relatively easy to transplant.

No reason to fertilise a native species in its natural habitat.

If it's getting any direct sun, it will help to temporarily shade it for several days. I stick leafy branches in the ground around new transplants until they adjust.

It is in partial sun to full shade

I have put a patio umbrella up to shade the direct sun for a few days.

It is fine now, it was just a little sad from being transplanted😅. Just a dramatic plant that just needed some love and water.
