Throw pillows on white sofa and blue chairs — what combinations?

I recently received some very helpful recommendations on this forum regarding mixing throw pillows (many thanks again!!), which I am trying to implement. I would be grateful for your thoughts on the attempts shown in the attached photos.
Questions:

Does the animal print in sand/white sufficiently balance the floral that the combination of one solid pillow on each end, with the floral in front of one of them, and the animal print in front of the other one, works?
For the larger, solid pillow on each end of the sofa, what color works best -- the beige, light blue, or darker blue? I attached photos that show the fabrics against the white sofa and blue chair for comparison.
How does it look having just one floral square pillow on the sofa and the same floral in a lumbar on one of the chairs? I love the floral, but maybe it's too much to have two of them on the sofa?
Guidance/recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!

The floral on blue chair looks lovely. I have no problem w foto 1 as mix and match fabrics. All the best. You’ve given me ideas for my white slip cover sofa.

Nice choices! I love the floral and the darker blue on the white sofa. But just move them around until YOU like them!

How many of these do you want to move around to SIT?

You seem to have the fabric? and you are making the pillows?

Don't faint: ) Store the loose back cushions on your sofa. Make two floral pillows, 24 x 24 and use a down and feather fill. Make another, your choice , same size in a different fabric.

Add two smaller, 20 x 20.......

If you think I've lost my mind? No......I did it on my own couch, off white. It updates the look of the couch, it leaves room to sit or enjoy a nap, and they are easy to jiggle around.

Pillows are accents for a reason, there are no hard and fast rules.

I'd add a deep leafy green to that mix ,....and remember a pillow need not be same on BOTH sides: )

Hi Holly,

Don't overthink it. Choose pillows you individually like and blend them together. I would go with a mix of options 1 and 2 to create an eclectic assortment that's more visually engaging. Avoid making the pillows overly pointed, as it tends to be an HGTV trend seen in many American homes, which isn't typically done in Europe.
