Nope. That is the homeowner’s Builders Risk policy that they purchased. The installer will never provide any type of insurance or even any warranty on homeowner provided materials.

Why on earth would anyone else’s insurance cover your materials at your house? Anything on your job site could br damaged or stolen at any moment. That is on you. You didn't purchase Builder’s Risk to cover that? Going to be impossible to get at this stage. You are self insuring out of your pocketbook. Hope you aren't building in OK, with all those tornadoes destroying houses.

Thank you! That that would not cover materials puchased by the client is what we were thinking but wanted other opinions. We are obtaining our own coverages as pertinent.

I don't believe anyone can answer this without seeing the actual policy in question. The builder's risk policy I'm currently looking at right now, will cover my personal items (such as appliances I have purchased) at my builders request. Insurance policies are complicated and I bet it's not uncommon for many builders to not fully understand what their builder's risk policy will cover and what it won't cover.

Builders Risk is a homeowner protection policy, not a builder policy. Builders have General Liability to protect them.
