It completely depends on what else you have in the house. Wood trim? Kitchen cabinets? You want a color that will play nicely with existing wood tones, then choose a paint color to match the floors.

Sherwin Williams have color consultants. You can meet them free for 30 minutes to see which flooring would work with paint.
