I am planning to replace our current dining table and chairs. The table/chairs would be placed against the bay window bench seat. I am trying to determine what would look best in this area. What I don't like about the current set: table legs at each corner making it difficult to get in/out of the bench seat and chairs too high blocking the view.

The island is SW Iron Ore with black/gold/white Cambria countertop. The other cabinets are natural maple. Fireplace is a black/charcoal wood slats with black/gold/white tile. What style/color would look best in this space? I will also be getting a much larger rug and redecorating the shelves above the space.
