It seems to be across from your leather sofa as we can see the top of an ottoman in 2 of the photos, is the main entrance next to the sofa? perhaps additional photos would help...

I would hand a series of art going down the hall and leave that area blank. I am trying to figure out, why you would put a mirror in that room. Looks like it does not reflect much.

@lisedv the front door is right next to the sofa. So the wall is across from both but blank part is directly in front of the front door and the TV is across from the couch. Hard to fit it all in a photo but here is another angle (old photo)

@njmomma mirror is for outfit mirror pics! 3 girls living here :) with the fireplace in the background it makes for a beautiful reflection

If you had a longer TV console, the TV would look more balanced and it would allow for some decor around it for when you walk in the front door, something like this...
